I actually started listening to the song through the artist Pellek, who does metal covers of many anime openings. Since then I have seen the first season of Tokyo Ghoul and I absolutely loved it - then I purchased the Manga, which is sitting on my bookshelf now, added to my queue of Stuff To Read.

That's cool! I recently got into the series. It's fascinating. I haven't seen much of the anime, but I've read up to volume 4 of the manga.
