He was glad the common room had not yet filled with many people and that the game in the corner had not drawn a larger crowd. He felt foolish sitting there with his neck turned as he waited with Avram.
Well this is foolish, how long am I supposed to wait like this for his side bet anyways, thought Danos to himself as he decided he had waited long enough to accommodate Avram's request.
As he turned he saw the women sitting, her hands clasped in her lap. She seemed ill at ease to Danos, and he wondered how much of that was the classes on observation and the growing Gaidin like awareness within him. Still, first few days here are hard on everyone, and you don't know her story thought Danos as he recalled his adjustment to life at the Grey Tower.
Danos calmly looked over the shells, looking at the shapes and spotting the blemish on the one he had been watching. He reached out with his hand and tapped the shell, "It's that one," he said as he sat back and waited to see what happened now with Avram's odd bet.
OOC: Danos will pick the shell he had always intended to pick, which is not the shell it lies under. And he plans to honour his bet, even if it comes to light. He's the type to figure if he was silly enough to fall for the ruse, it's a lesson for him.
