Welcome to the Gardens: one of the most tranquil areas of the Tower Grounds. Birds sing in the trees which line the wide paths between beautiful flower beds and serene lakes. There are benches to sit and listen to the waterfall, and there is neatly trimmed grass to lie on and rest. Novices and Soldiers as well as Warders in Training can be seen, sweeping the stone paths as Accepted and Dedicated study from books and relax under leafy trees.

Green Learning
Liri wound her way through the Halls, she was still very unsure of what Ajah she wanted to join so she was trying to sit down and talk to someone from every Ajah she was interested. Today she was going to meet with Mia Sedai from the Green Ajah. Ever since returning to the Tower, Liri tried to keep herself busy so she would not dwell on what had happened- the less she thought of it the better. I'll need to head over to the Warder Yards and take a few lessons there too she thought to herself. She never wanted to feel defenseless again and she couldn't always depend on channeling.
Liri and Mia had agreed to meet up in the Gardens, it was a nice day and no one wanted to be stuck inside. Arriving at the Gardens Liri entered and looked around. Suddenly she realized that she wasn't quite sure what Mia Sedai looked like. She thought she had brown hair but she was unsure and even then there were a few people wandering around the Gardens. Liri knew she didn't even look at anyone in Accepted or Novice clothing, which left two people, but she knew one to be a servant so that left only one women sitting on a bench a few paces away from her.
Walking up, Liri walked slowly trying to hide her limp. By now almost everyone had heard of her absence and knew her by her limp but Liri tired to hide it at first so that she could make clean first assumptions of her instead of rumors and stories. Arriving infront of the Aes Sedai Liri did her best curtsy "Mia Sedai?" She asked. "I'm Lirievin Tesiva, I've asked to meet as I have some questions about the Green Ajah if you don't mind?" She finished. Since the meeting was agreed on Liri knew she wouldn't be turned away but it was always polite to ask and Liri did not want to offend anyone.

The Next Generations
Miahala Sedai had been a little surprised that anyone would wish to speak with her as part of...this normal part of Tower life, but a part of her was pleased. So much of her life here had been either as Captain General, or Mistress of Novices, or both... It felt almost unnatural for her to no be somehow involved with the coming generations of the Towers' ranks.
She lifted her head at the sound of her name. Her face, so deep into agelessness as to be almost porcelain, almost stone, that it fell naturally to impassivity. Her blue-green eyes, strikingly Saldean, took in the girl before her for a moment. In the Green's lap was a piece of parchment and charcoal, angled so only a hint of a drawing could be seen. (She was trying to reclaim her life.) But she folded it up and slipped it into her pocket.
"Well met, Accepted," she greeted. The very corners of her mouth tilted up into a shadow of a smile. "I am glad to assist. Would you care to sit, or to walk while we speak?"
((OOC: Sorry for my delay! Life was, well, Life'ing me.))

Liri wasn't sure how to act around Mia, her smile indicated she was friendly but she had not heard much about her so she was unsure. Most of her time alone with an Aes Sedai had been spent with Carra, and Liri had learn her boundaries there. Thinking of Carra always had Liri wondering where she was and what she was doing. Liri had not seen Carra since before she was taken away and she knew her disappearence was tied with what had happened to her, so Liri just hoped that where ever Carra was she was safe. Mia Sedai enquired if Liri wanted to sit or walk, Liri had done a lot of walking today, trying to jam in more classes then she probably should so she was worried that her ankle would give up of they walked while they talked.
"If you don't mind, Mia Sedai I would like to sit." She said gently. Sheleft out her reasons as she did not want pity, but she knew she did not want to make a fool of herself by falling.
Sitting down on the bench beside Mia Sedai, Liri smoothest her dress before speaking. "I know I am still new to the ring, but being raised has made me think about my future and I have realized that I have no idea what Ajah I would even being to think about joining. I do have a few ideas but I wish to get to know the Ajahs better so that when I am deemed worthy I can confidently make my choice and know that it is the right one."
Liri knew that may have been a bit to take in but she wanted to be honest with the Aes Sedai, she figured it would be her best chance of not disappointing any one. "What I really want to know is what makes you a Green?" Liri knew the standard answer but none of that was helping her make a decision. She figured if she went right to an Aes Sedai and asked them she could get an answer that may help her make a decision.

((OOC: Minor note, but she really shouldn't refer to her as "Mia" Sedai since Mia is a nickname. Her name is Miahala.
))
How long ago it had been Mia wearing the banded dress, wondering about her future and hesitant in her words around the Aes Sedai marked as quite elder by their ageless faces. For her part, she had always known her desired ajah, but she knew it was not so for everyone. Her smile grew a little at the corners of her mouth and her brows rose. "Do you mean Greens in general, or me specifically?" she asked, not unkindly, just plainly. She was, after all, a precise woman.

((OOC: Sorry I was being lazy and didn’t look up her full name))
Liri didn’t know why, but she felt nervous. She knew Miahala Sedai had been around the Tower a really long time, so that might have been it, but she also felt weird about asking an Aes Sedai questions about their Ajah when she wasn’t even sure she would join. Liri was sure she wasn’t the only one who must have felt so confused about which Ajah she was going to join, but she didn’t really have any friend who were Accepteds, so she had no one to talk to about her confusion. There was always Carra, but She had been gone for a while and Liri didn’t want to bother her.
“Well I am looking for a more personal opinion.” Liri said finally. “I know the basic intention of the Green Ajah, but none of the descriptions are sitting right with me. I think a more personal opinion will help clear my head.”

Re: Green Learning [[Atten: Mia]]
Although she was some able to sense the girl's nervousness, being in the business for a long while of needing to read people, Mia didn't let it show. She understood. People had long been nervous around her, especially the learning ranks, although at least it wasn't so much as when she had been Mistress of Novices... Then again, her present "life circumstances" seemed to up it again. Oh well, she couldn't do much about it except try not to add to it when not necessary.
When it was necessary, of course, she had no compunction against using it to her advantage. Fortunately, this was not one of those times.
"It is wise to gain as much information and as many perspectives as you can," Mia agreed kindly. "After all, it is an important decision and will help to frame the direction of your life once you've attained the shawl." She paused thoughtfully, combing back over more than a century to when she had come to the Grey Tower and risen in the ranks. "Honestly, I was..." She paused and her lips tilted, very faintly, in a wry smile. "An energetic one woman." She had a temper...
"I was concerned with justice in the world, but to me, there was more to it than that. It wasn't just about righting wrongs, but battling the darkness where it was found. Keeping as little of it as good be and be more ready for the Last Battle. I was somewhat enraptured by the lessons taught to me by the Greens, and I had several friends pursuing it." She paused, a knowing but almost warm look in her eyes. "In truth, it simply felt like a calling rather than a logical, thought-out choice. But my rather...impassioned and instinctive nature is what has served me well in the Ajah."
Besides, she thought to herself with amusement, the fireballs and lightning were great fun to learn.

Liri nodded as Miahala Sedai spoke. She was glad that Miahala Sedai seemed to be nice and understanding of her situation. Miahala Sedai spoke with such passion about her Ajah, which made Liri feel even more hopeless. The way Miahala Sedai spoke about her choice made it seem like she had no choice, she just KNEW where she was meant to be. Liri signed inwardly. It seemed like she would never make the decision. Maybe I'll just be the eternal Accepted she thought bringing a small smile to her face. Liri took the smile off her face quickly, she didn't want Miahala Sedai to think she was laughing at something she had said.
"I appreciate you taking the time to speak to me Miahala Sedai." She started softly. "I just... I've spent time looking at all the Ajahs, and I know that there are some Ajah's I would not fit in, and there are a few that I am interested in. I just always thought when I had to make this decision it would be easy, that the choice would be clear to me, but it's anything but clear..." Liri stopped there. She was babbling and she was sure Miahala Sedai had more important things going on then a confused Accepted.
"I'm sorry for babbling Miahala Sedai. This just has me frustrated at my inability to make a decision." She paused taking a breath to try and calm herself down. "I really do appreciate you meeting me to talk. Green is actually one of the Ajahs I am taking a closer look, which is why I wanted to speak with you. I just am not sure so I'm trying to wrap my mind around it and figure out o

Re: Green Learning [[Atten: Mia]]
"Do not apologize, child," Mia said kindly. "You are not alone in the difficulty that you face. There are many young men and women who ascend the ranks who do not have a 'calling' such as I did, and they have to examine the Ajahs and then simply... Well, make the best guess they can. At least you know which ones you do not see yourself suiting, which means that of your remaining choices, you will likely not be displeased or feel like you made a wrong choice in any."
In her answer, there was a very slight and very subtle change in her demeanor, but in that change, there emerged the woman who had spent combined decades in the role of Mistress of Novices and had talked with many a young woman facing choices, of this nature or of others; not to mention having raised five children, two of them girls.
"Would you like to share with me the Ajahs you're considering?" Mia offered. "It is of course a private decision, so do not feel obliged to discuss it even though an Aes Sedai has asked. But I've worked with near every Ajah at some point or another, and perhaps I can offer useful perspective to compare."

Liri felt oddly relieved when Miahala Sedai said that she was not alone with her challenge to choose an Ajah, anyone she had talked to didn't seem as confused as her. But to hear if from an Aes Sedai, an an Aes Sedai who was being very understanding of her trials made her feel comforted. As Miahala Sedai asked about what Ajahs she was thinking about, Liri wasn't sure what to say. She could tell her, she felt like Miahala Sedai wouldn't care or hold her to her ideas but it seemed weird talking to an Aes Sedai about Ajah's.
Debating this in her mind, Liri decided to tell Miahala Sedai. She was older, and seemed very knowledgeable and at this point Liri would welcome any advice to try and make this decision easier. She would have to get over the weirdness. "Right now I'm looking into Green, Blue.." she trailed off a bit, she knew that not everyone liked talking about the Red Ajah and it's new purpose but if she decided to go Red she would have to get use to it. "and Red." she finished trying to keep her voice strong.

Re: Green Learning [[Atten: Mia]]
Hearing the reference to the Red Ajah, Mia used her Aes Sedai calm to hide the inherent distaste she had for it. After all, she still didn't know enough about it to really judge. The Red here could not be like the Red of the White Tower, so it was unfair to judge. She just had decades of learning here in the Tower to overcome, now that this had changed. Her warm smile remained as she nodded to show that she was listening to what the girl said.
"Unfortunately, I cannot tell you much about the Red," she said without any judgment in her tone. "That Ajah was created while I was...away from the Tower for a long time. I am still learning about it myself. The Greens and the Blues, however, have long had much in common and historically worked well and often together. One might say that the Greens tend to look for a fight, while the Blues keep the fight as an option among many." She paused. "What in these three Ajahs appeals to you?"
