| Avyra wanted to die. She had ran after her encounter with Ravak, not waiting for him to reply to her remarks. He could report her if he wanted. She would be gone by morning if he did. So, she found herself a small hole, in the roots of a tree. That tree. The one that had, in a way, caused all her problems. She then began to sob quietly, curled up in a ball. She would not let herself get caught like this. She hadn't even learned the Aiel Dedicated's name. And he was in trouble because of her. She stopped for a moment, drying her eyes. She had to go find him. And so, after about ten minutes, she crawled out, looking around to make sure Ravak bloody Gaidin wasn't hunting about, looking for a way to make her feel even lower to the ground than she already was. She hated that man. She had a pretty good idea where the Dedicated would have gone, so she followed, sniffling a bit. She avoided people, taking the backway to the offices. She didn't want to be found. But that was where she ran into the Aiel Dedicated. And he looked angry, livid. Like Ravak had been. Avyra stopped walking, biting her lip. Did she really want to do this? She paused, then stepped forward, shrinking into the ground, almost. Instinct was telling her to run away from this giant of a man who was currently livid, about something she had basically caused, just in case he chose to take his anger out on her. She had been practicing combat, yeah, but she still wasn't ready to take on anyone two feet taller than her and nearly four times as big in a real fight. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get you in trouble... I still... I never did catch your name... I'm sorry," she murmured, wiping away a few more tears from her eyes with the back of her hand. Aes Sedai didn't act like this! |
