Rory received the notice of the new Dedicated who had been assigned to him for his work detail in the Vaults as he was sitting at his breakfast. The young man should be arriving in the front hall of the library any moment now. Rory walked with a steady if somewhat uneven gait and considered the task at hand. He had been asked by the ajah head to oversee the cataloging of the deep vaults; the repositories of not only manuscripts but also objects and their research documentation. He thought that several of those vaults would not require his direct supervision and so he had enlisted two other aspirants that he trusted to work on those unaided. This Dedicated would be helping Rory himself as they worked on the Indigo Ter'Angreal Vaults. These objects of the Power were known to be dangerous and as such, it was imperative that they not be allowed to fall into the wrong hands. Many of these objects had been created right here in the Tower. Others had been collected or brought to the Tower by initiates. The Indigo were diligent in their pursuit of knowledge about those objects and Rory was pleased to have the opportunity to comb through their treasures.
Approaching the front hall of the library, Rory paused and looked around. Locating the Dedicated, Daelar, he walked up and introduced himself. "Dedicated. I am Rory Asha'man of the Brown. I believe you requested the opportunity to talk to a Brown about the lifestyle associated with this ajah. I am going to give you the opportunity to experience it first-hand. We have a unique vault of fascinating objects that we are going to be working in today. Are you ready?" Rory was genuinely excited by the task at hand and he hoped this young man would be as well.

Re: Cataloging The Vaults [Brown Ajah Exp. Julio]
Daelar waited in the library as he had been instructed. A brown brother was going to come and talk to him about the Brown Ajah. Daelar was quite interested in the brown. He liked books, and he like knowledge. It would be interesting to hear what a Brown thought of it.
After a short moment, a brown arrived. That was the brown who had put him onto Ter'angreal in the first place! After he had accidentally, or rather unknowingly, made a Ter'angreal, while still a Soldier, he had run into Rory Asha'man. Rory had recognized the little bottle as a Ter'angreal, and had said so when he took it. Daelar had immediately gone to the library.
Rory looked very excited about these objects. These objects must be very interesting indeed, to cause such excitement. If so, I'll be excited as well. Daelar would indeed be glad to get first hand experience as a brown. "Yes, sir. I am ready."
They started walking, the Brown hardly looking to see if Daelar was there. It looked like they were heading toward the Indigo Ajah vaults... Were they going to study Ter'angreal? It would be quite an interesting coincidence.

Re: Cataloging The Vaults [Brown Ajah Exp. Julio]
Rory led the way to the Indigo Vaults and paused at the door to sign the registry showing who had entered. Just inside the door, to the left, there was a table with a cataloging notebook and pens. "We are going to start with the Angreal and the Sa'Angreal. Here is a listing of the items that should be here and we need to note any that are missing or borrowed and where they are if we know. Any that are missing and we can not account for must be brought to the attention of the Head of the Indigo Ajah."
Rory smiled a quick flash of a smile and handed the appropriate cataloging notebook and a pen to Daelar. "Let's begin in the back and work our way forward. They should be ordered as such in the catalog." Rory led the way to the back of the row and indicated for Daelar to name off the items so that he could lay hands on them on the shelves inside the smaller vault rooms. Rory stepped inside the Fifth Vault, leaving Daelar in the row walkway and said, "Begin."
OOC: At the bottom of the page I have linked to, you will find the listings of the Angreal. Just talk about going through the list and any questions that come to mind regarding the Brown Ajah. Make note of the ring that is missing and we will have to note to check that it is where it is noted to be. When you ask questions about the ajah, we will be able to RP exploring what it is like to be in that ajah.

Re: Cataloging The Vaults [Brown Ajah Exp. Julio]
Daelar nodded to the Asha'man, and began to look at the different angreal. First on the list was a powerful angreal for female channelers; a black and white disk, ships sailing around the edge. Yep, it was here. He picked it up, hefting it. Probably he shouldn't do that, so he quickly put it down, looking around to see if Asha'man was there. He wrote down everything he knew of it, but couldn't confirm the strength.
There was a blue dolphin, right where it should be. It was a beautiful sculpture. There was a kneeling blue woman, her hands stretched up high. All of the shelves were dark, and covered in dust. There was a pearl necklace, where it was supposed to be. Daelar had to blow the dust off of it before he could see the symbol of the Aes Sedai. There was a pouch of crystal balls, one blue, one red, one clear, one black, and one brown. They were there on the chart.
He glanced at the chart; an angreal was missing. There should have been a gold ring with a flower, and a diamond in the center. He marked it down; where it was, he had no idea.
He moved on toward the Male Ter'angreal. These were very tempting. There was an oval stone, the light shining through it. He turned it over, and blinked. Why's there a face there? Well, it is an object of the Power.
A moment later, he put it back and moved on to the next, a small belt buckle shaped like a hawk. He hefted it, and was surprised by its weight. He was tempted to try it out, but stopped himself, putting it back.

Rory noted the patient and focused way that Daelar moved through the list. "You have a knack for avoiding distraction. That is helpful for any activity in the Brown Ajah. My own personal studies and the laboratory space I was granted for it will be excessively time consuming once I have more ... resources. Do you have a particular field of interest?"
Rory smiled, noting the middle aged Accepted joining them in the vault and taking a clip board to the end of the room with books on the shelves. Makenna would be taking her Stairs soon. She would be joining the Brown. Of this there was no doubt. The woman had too much curiosity not to follow it into the realm of philosophical study.

Re: Cataloging The Vaults [Brown Ajah Exp. Julio]
Daelar lifted the next angreal. It felt strange. It was very similar to a die, but something was off. It's weight felt weird. He hefted it for a moment, then put it back, noting it in his notebook. "Yes, indeed I do. I am quite interested in Ter'angreal, especially the making thereof. I seem to have a Talent for it, and am working to improve on it. I have so far not made any that are overly complex. I believe the most complex Ter'angreal I have created was a pen that regulates inkflow and refills itself. However, I am working on something a bit more... involved. If I may ask, what is it that will be so time consuming?"
He continued moving through the angreal shelves. The next angreal was not a single angreal, but a bag of five. It was similar to the female group of the same, each the colour of one of the powers. Daelar tried the red globe, and it seemed to do exactly what he expected: enhance his strength in fire and nothing else. Likely all the rest would help with one corresponding power. Daelar noted that these angreal were here. The next part of the shelf, though, was empty of its angreal. He read the list: there should be a ring of green jade, with gold leaf designs on it. It wasn't there, and it looked like it had been gone for quite a while. Daelar noted it down, and moved on. The next was a crystal ball, about five inches across. It was exactly where it should be.
