Questionable Behaviour (Roan!)

Hama Valon, the city around the Grey Tower.
Forum rules
Welcome to Hama Valon! The aptly named 'mountain guard' is the city that has grown up at the gates of the Grey Tower at the western edge of the Two Rivers. Like all cities, there are quiet quarters with pleasant inns, such as Elman's Creek, which used to be the nearest village when the Tower was young, but was absorbed as the new city grew; its Band of Brothers Inn is still a favorite relaxation spot for many of the Tower's denizens. And again, like all cities the world over, there are less pleasant places--narrow, nameless streets that house hells and other houses of ill repute. Most of the city falls somewhere in between, with hawkers crying their wares in the streets, respectable shopkeepers ready to serve you, and petty cutpurses happy to follow you.

Novices, Soldiers, and drin'far'ji must be accompanied by a chaperon when outside Tower walls or they risk being picked up as runaways and duly punished.

Questionable Behaviour (Roan!)

Zarius Iiro
I do what I have to.

That was enough to keep him going during the sunlit hours of the day; he led, his orders were obeyed and followed and he met the challenges before him with his usual focused intensity. For all the world it seemed as if Zeen finally had his own affairs in order. He was the Captain-General of the Green Ajah. He had bonded a lost Warder. By all accounts and measuring, he was doing well.

When night fell however, and the Tower quieted, the Amadician was not quite able to maintain the facade. Shadows came, and he still could not look at their flickering movement without tensing and bracing for attacks and blades that never came. Red’s screams... “Kaia!”... the sounds haunted him with frightening regularity that time barely dimmed and could not erase. Zeen closed his eyes with a shuddering sigh and leaned back in his chair, his head tilting up towards the ceiling of his personal rooms. The report he had been reading was tossed carelessly back onto his desk.

His attention turned inward and he followed the Power wrought connection that joined him to the former M’Hael. The bond boiled and churned, raging beneath his touch, a chaotic whirlpool that threatened to drag him under with each breath. Red’s resentment was palpable, the distance that separated them a wide chasm that hurt more than the grey eyed man would ever admit. Jaryd did not want that distance to bridged and Zeen could not say that he blamed the smaller man. Despite the way their emotions tangled and twisted together until it was uncertain who began where, he did his best to respect his friend’s wishes and stayed away.

Long fingers rubbed at the scar that slashed between his brows, the Asha’man dropping his head, his eyes opening again as he stared wearily at the report again. He seized saidin and set the sheet of paper ablaze with an irritable flick of his hand. It burned so hot that not even ash remained. He shoved back with his legs and stood abruptly, kicking his chair as hard as he could. The crash it made against the far wall was most satisfying. Zeen yanked a shirt on before he left his rooms behind, the space suddenly too small to contain all of the memories and emotions that threatened to burst free. He ignored the open laces that hung down to nearly his waist, just as he ignored the looks he received as he strode out of the Green Ajah courtyard. He had better things to be concerned about the proper state of his attire.

He was simply walking now... where? It did not matter where. He was outside. Moving helped and - he froze, his thoughts listing to the side before completely abandoning him. He would recognize her anywhere, her silhouette, her shadow... anything... Guilt and shame shot through him, rolling over him in debilitating waves. He could not breathe. Oh Light... Light, Light Light... Zeen felt Jaryd’s interest sharpen, along with... what was this? Concern? No. He was imagining it. That could not be what he felt. Sanity wavered for a moment and it was too much. The Amadician promptly muffled the bond, but even that did not return the self-control he so desperately sought.

“Tia.”

No sound emerged from his lips and the tip of his tongue went out to wet them.

“Tia,” he tried again, the unflattering croak of sound drawing the Accepted’s attention. Zeen gave the pins that hung around his neck a self-conscious tug and approached her cautiously. Her green eyes were... there was no malice there. No... blame...? No hate? How could that be? He had... he had led her to be collared... Panic and self-loathing made his breath sharp and short, and when he finally stopped in front of her, his hands reached out and grasped both of hers with white knuckled intensity.

“I am sorry. I am so so very sorry.” The words spilled from his mouth and he could not stop them. He bowed his head, forehead nearly touching their joined hands. “I did not mean for you to be collared as well. Light, I am sorry! Please... please forgive me...”

Tia Tomosan
Night did not just haunt the Captain General. It was easy for Tia to distract herself during the day, but once the last class finished she found herself restless. Sometimes, she paced her room, sometimes, she wandered the halls of the Tower, or the Tower grounds. Most who passed her gave the Accepted a wide berth and few even acknowledged her. Thus when she heard her name, she thought she was imagining it until she turned to see the source of her croaked name.

Zeen. Her heart leapt into her throat. She hadn't seen him since . . .since they'd parted ways before unleashing death and destruction on the Tower. She'd heard he'd been fully raised, and then of course heard he'd been made Captain General.

What a sight it must have been for those who walked by! Zeen, the Captain General with his shirt open to his waist, gripping an Accepted’s hand and begging her for forgiveness? She felt no malice towards him, and showed none. She felt a twinge of envy that he'd been fully raised for some time now, yet she still wore the blasted banded dress, but even that did not show. Her look was one of compassion.

“Zeen,” she spoke softly and gave his hands a squeeze as she tilted her head so she could meet his gaze. One hand found its way to his cheek and lifted his head so he could see her eyes, “Zeen, you have nothing to apologize for. . .how could you have known the blasted Seanchan camp was there? I hold no ill will towards you, Zeen. None.” She ran a thumb along his cheekbone and shook her head, “I forgive you, though I don’t think there is anything to forgive.”

Two Accepted walked by, their pace slowing as they stared wide-eyed at the Accepted and the Captain General, their minds surely wondering what other impropriety the Amyrlin Seat’s kin had found herself in this time.Tia felt their eyes on her as they walked past, but when Zeen looked up and gave them one of his trademark glares, their pace picked up, and the Asha’man and Accepted were alone once more.

Tia looked to Zeen’s nearly bare chest, and felt heat rise on her cheeks. She looked away for a moment, though her hands seemed to move of their own accord as they started lacing up his shirt. An embarrassed smile came to her, “As if they need any more fodder to feed their wicked rumor mills.” Realizing she was. . .dressing the man before her, she stopped and met his eyes once more, “Uhm, heh. I guess if you wanted the shirt laced up, you probably would have done it yourself.”

Feeling another wave of heat, she offered an embarrassed smile, “Sorry.” She started to take her hands away and found his wrapping around hers once again.

“It is ok, Tia,” Zeen rumbled in a way that reminded Tia of her father.

Her father? Why was she thinking about him now? Giving a mental shake of her head, she focused on the man before her who was most definitely not her father, but then found herself somewhat tongue tied.

Fortunately, Zeen was not at such a loss for words. He offered a small smile and nodded in the direction of the Tower gates, “Join me for a walk into Hama Valon? Perhaps we can find a tavern and talk? I have not seen you since. . .”

He trailed off, but she knew what he was going to say. She’d wondered how he’d been doing, and even wanted to find him, but her own recovery took time. Her studies started to pile up, and she found she had little free time to herself, except at night. She did what she could to distract herself, or work herself to exhaustion in the vain hope to pass out without a chance to dream or, really, to go through those nightmares once again.

Tia gave a small smile and nodded, “I would like that, Zeen.” He let go of her hands, and the two walked side by side. She let the small smile turn to a small smirk, “Or should I say Asha’man, Captain General, sir!”

Zeen
Silver-grey eyes stared at the Accepted for a moment before what she said finally registered. Zeen groaned, a pained look accompanying the abrupt shake of his head. “Do not- please do not call me that. You... do not have to call me that.” The way her green eyes sparkled and the little curve of her mouth told him that she was teasing him, but... hearing the words Captain-General fall from her lips made him acutely uncomfortable.

At least she had not paired his title with a salute.

He brushed his fingers absently over the laces that were half done, glancing down briefly in bemusement. A lifetime ago, Red would have laughed at him. The Amadician finished what Tia had started, deft motions closing up the top of his shirt. He secured the ties with a sturdy knot, then went to adjust the leather cord around his neck, feeling the warm metal shift against his chest. The Green winced a little as the smooth edges of the sword and dragon pins somehow caught against the hair there.

There came a small pang of... physical pain as he decided against reopening himself to the bond. The shame he felt still lurked along the edges of his thoughts, patiently waiting in the dark. Red did not need to feel him... feeling that. Zeen sighed softly, wanting to spare his friend that... wanting to protect his brother from that. He rubbed at the scar that slashed between his brows. Jaryd would understand. Despite his anger and resentment, the Altaran always did.

He shortened his stride to match Tia’s and as they made their way out of the Tower proper, the brown haired man found that he was at a loss as to what to say. Every scenario that he had conjured during the hours he spent paralyzed with guilt had not gone like this. He had not expected her to welcome his presence... much less forgive him... and the fact that she had done both... Tears prickled behind his eyes and he wanted to laugh at himself. Light!

The Asha’man reached over wordlessly and took her hand, attempting to offer... comfort perhaps, what little that he could. His thumb brushed against the heel of her palm and he patted at the fingers that curled in against his with his other hand. He did not speak until they had passed beneath the sign of the Band of Brothers, and when they had squeezed into a cozy little table settling in across from each other, he finally gave her a faint smile.

“I am sorry that I did not come to find you sooner.” Zeen shook his head, daring to lift his gaze to meet hers. “I... could not... it was not...” he fumbled for the words to accurately articulate what he had felt and realized that he lacked the vocabulary. He had a sneaking suspicion that Tia did not need him to go into detail, given the dark circles under her green eyes. She looked tired... as tired as he felt.

“I was not in my right mind,” he finally said, “I... do not have the words to properly describe it, but I think that you understand.” He gently brought her hand up, pressing his lips against the back of her knuckles before letting their hands fall to rest against the tabletop. It was difficult to hear over the ambient noise of drunken laughter and lively conversation so he leaned in a little closer. “How have you been coping? How have you been sleeping? Tell me the truth, Tia.” The broad Amadician hesitated for a moment before giving her a rueful look. “It is perhaps not the best approach but... do you need a drink to help with the memories?”

Tia Tomosan
The Accepted wasn’t sure what to think when Zeen took her hand in his, but she once again felt herself flush. You are not a teenager anymore, Tia Tomosan! Stop blushing like a fool! she mentally chided herself, though she had little control over it. She wanted to say something as they walked, but words seemed to escape her.

Before she knew it, the two were squeezed into a table, and Zeen was apologizing again, though he too seemed to struggle to find words for the moment. How have you been coping? How have you been sleeping? Tell me the truth, Tia. The Accepted felt her heart pound in her chest when he asked, and part of her wanted to run away from the moment. In some ways, not talking about it made it easier to deal with, though she knew she was lying to herself.

Swallowing hard, Tia tried to speak, but Zeen’s bemused look and follow-up question gave her a moment of reprieve, “It is perhaps not the best approach but... do you need a drink to help with the memories?”

Holding his gaze for a moment before giving a soft laugh and looking at the table, “Light yes. . .please.” She hadn’t, to this point, drowned herself in ale or mead, but used her studies as a substitute. While healthier in some ways, it accomplished the same goal of pushing memories to the depths of her mind until exhaustion hit, but not even exhaustion kept the dreams away.

The Asha’man gave an almost warm smile as he reached across and squeezed her hand once again before getting up and heading to the bar. Tia looked around and felt. . .what? She couldn’t explain it if she tried, but her eyes were drawn to Zeen once more. She’d missed him, she realized. He’d been a friend, and they’d endured something hard for most others to comprehend. Why hadn’t she gone to find him?

Because it would have meant facing what happened. . .and you’ve been running away from it, stupid girl she berated herself once more. Sometimes, running away was easier, at least for a time.

Zeen returned with two mugs and what seemed to be a very big bottle. As he took his seat, he poured out the amber liquid, “Mead. . .though I could probably find something stronger.”

Tia laughed softly and shook her head, “I do not drink often, Zeen. I doubt I need anything stronger.” She took the mug offered by him, and took a long pull before setting her mug down. She looked to him and took a deep breath, “I could say everything is fine, and I’m fine, but I think you would know it to be a lie.” Her brows furrowed and she lowered her eyes to stare into the mug, “Most often, when I close my eyes, I see the faces of the people I killed. Sometimes, I watch myself rip you to shreds, or my Mother and Father. . .sometimes Memma. I don’t sleep unless I am absolutely exhausted, and sometimes, even then. . .”

The Accepted trailed off and found herself taking another long pull of her drink. She felt a knot at the back of her throat, and swallowed hard, willing it away. She didn’t want to cry. . .not here, not in front of him. “I. . .wanted to come find you too, but after you were raised. . .I didn’t know if it would be appropriate,” she said when she looked up to meet his cool gaze once more.

Zeen
Zeen stared at her for a full minute, his eyebrows climbing towards his hairline. “Not... appropriate?” he finally managed to repeat, his expression openly incredulous. He pushed the two mugs of mead towards her and then brought the bottle up, uncorking it with his teeth. He let the stopper fall to the floor before taking a long, burning swallow of the amber liquid. He hissed, grimacing, but that was soon forgotten as pleasant warmth rose abruptly from somewhere below his stomach.

He slammed the bottle down back onto the table with more force than was warranted, his hands going up to rake through the wavy curls of unruly brown that crowned his head, grey eyes piercing as he looked into green. “My door is always open to you, Tia. Always. We were- we- we were-” Light, he still could not say it.

The Amadician pulled in a deep breath and tried a different approach. “You, Jaryd, and myself... we endured something that very few people here have. Our shared suffering has... it has changed us,” he said wearily with a wave of his hand. “Marked us and while others wish to help, sometimes they cannot because they do not understand. Sometimes... they make it worse. It is a relief to know that I do not have to explain it to you or to Red. I can only hope that I offer you the same kind of respite.”

He reached across the table, threading his arm between the two mugs and squeezed her hand again.

“Have you... considered taking the tea?” There was no warmth to the small smile that came to his face. “I have, several times. Running around the Yards like a madman until I almost pass out also helps. Otherwise... I do not sleep much either, and when I do... the nightmares...” his voice trailed off and he took another deep pull straight from the bottle. “I wake up screaming,” he continued, the Asha’man turning the bottle slowly between his hands, over and over again. He felt cold, suddenly, and exhaled shakily.

Silver-grey eyes fixated on the swirling contents encased in glass, his voice dropping lower. “Sometimes, I still feel the collar around my neck... hear her whispers in my head. She laughs at me. She would not let me move, did you know? She delighted in that.”

His face spasmed and his shoulders lifted sharply before settling down into a taut line. Zeen tipped the bottle towards Tia and then gently struck the side of her mug with the fluted neck in an impromptu toast. “But they are dead and we are not. That has to count for something, no? We drink to that! And I do not care if it is inappropriate. I believe in this instance, we have earned the right to be.”

Tia Tomosan
Tia held one of the mugs of mead between her two hands. It almost looked as if she was trying to warm them, but in reality, it kept her from fidgeting. She hadn’t really spoken about what happened when she was with the Seanchan with anyone, and part of her would much rather forget.

Zeen distracted her by biting off and spitting out the cork to the bottle he now held, and she found herself rewarding him with a small, but warm smile. She drank as he did, taking a long pull of the mead, finding its sweet taste much to her liking. She’d downed perhaps a third of the first mug without batting an eyelid, and cleared her throat as it seemed to warm her center going down.

The Accepted watched as her friend struggled to find words, but she understood his difficulty. When he finally managed it, what he said struck home. People wanted to help, but by coddling her, which was the last thing she wanted or needed. She didn’t, though, know what it was she truly needed. Part of her relaxed sitting there with him. Part of her that had been tense since the day she woke up in the infirmary.

When he gripped her hand in his once more, she again felt heat on her cheeks, but tried to hide the flush by taking another sip of her sickly sweet beverage.

“Have you considered taking the tea?” he asked. She simply shook her head. They’d given it to her when she was in the infirmary, and she hated how….cloudy she felt.

Zeen tried to escape the memories and nightmares too. . .by working himself to exhaustion. Tia realized she was not alone in this. If he’d found a way to cope, perhaps so could she?

Whatever blood rushed to her face to cause her to flush drained when he talked about his time in the collar. She spoke softly, “I. . .I didn’t know she could fully control you. Zeen. . .I. . .I am so sorry. No one should have to live through that. . .be used like that.”

The Green’s body shifted, as did his tone as he ‘toasted’ her with his bottle, “But they are dead and we are not. That has to count for something, no? We drink to that! And I do not care if it is inappropriate. I believe in this instance, we have earned the right to be.”

Tia managed a weak smile, “It counts for a great deal if it means we can sit here as friends and share in a drink or two. . .or more if it strikes our fancy.” She tipped her first mug back, and while she hadn’t quite finished it, the mug was over half empty. The smile seemed to fade somewhat, “I think. . .it would not be so bad if it were not for the nightmares. Every time I close my eyes. . .and sometimes when I’m awake, something reminds me.” She let go a sigh, “I know the tea helps with that, but I don’t feel myself.” She scrunched her nose and furrowed her brow, “Not that I’ve felt like myself since. . .then.”

The Accepted hesitated, debating whether to admit what happened when she worked with the Soldier. There were not many she’d feel comfortable admitting the truth to, but Zeen earned the right to hear it. “I was put with a Soldier to try linking. I should have known better. . .should have remembered, but when I found I couldn’t drop the link, or control the Source, I panicked. The poor guy. . .I may have scared him as much as I scared myself. I felt helpless when we linked, and part of me swore I would never feel that helpless again,” as she explained all of this, she stared into the depths of her mug, then drained what was left.

Setting the empty one aside and taking the second one in hand, she looked up, “But you are right. They are dead, and we are not. Life is for the living, and we should. . .celebrate.” She held up her mug and did her best to flash him the light, cheerful smile she was once known for before taking another sip. Warmth from the mead started to spread, giving her a rosy glow about her cheeks and eyes, which lit up as she smiled at Zeen.

Zarius I-may-be-getting-drunk-and-do-not-care Iiro
Zeen grimaced faintly as he thought over Tia’s words, the pleasant burn of the brandy - or whatever it was that he was drinking - flushing through his body. “No one should have to live through what we did,” he corrected her gently, silver-grey eyes tracing over the shape of her face for long moments. He did not miss the way her smile lit up the entirety of her eyes, green... he remembered abruptly. The shadows that ringed beneath them... were not right. Like the Lady. Not exactly the same... but... Kaia had been tired like that as well, before she- before Red... Light.

The unnatural silence from the part of his mind that Jaryd occupied seared like a brand.

“I also vowed that I would never be helpless again, that I would never let someone... control me like that again.” The Amadician smiled a little, his voice perhaps a touch too loud as his hand lifted to rub at the back of his neck. “And then I went and -” he cut himself off abruptly, the twist of his lips shifting for a moment from rueful to bitter. He exhaled quietly and his expression quickly smoothed out. “Well, I made a choice. I do not know if it was the right one, but...” he let his voice trail off and took another pull straight from the bottle. And then another. “I suppose time will tell.”

Some part of him was well aware that downing the rest of the contents of the bottle was not the wisest thing he could have chosen to do, but Zeen ignored the good sense echoing from that particular corner of his skull and gestured instead for another bottle, and another mug of mead for Tia. Another round. They were here to celebrate after all. Celebrate.

“Life is indeed for the living,” he agreed, his gaze solemn as he turned back to his companion. “Perhaps... perhaps it is not a matter of getting ourselves back to what we used to be... the way things used to be. The- the Seanchan,” he only just barely managed not to spit out the word, “took that away from us. Along with... so much else. I think, we must find a way to move forward, or we will always be... collared.”

Yes... he liked the way that sounded. He shook his head slightly, noting that the very edges of his vision blurred a little. How curious. The moment the serving girl set down the fresh mug and bottle, he pushed the frothing drink towards Tia and took a prompt pull from the cool glass. He let out a muffled curse as fire stormed through his mouth and down his throat, flames licking deep within his belly.

He had been upset, but the reasons for it seemed so very very far away. He took another swallow and blocked the unflattering exclamation with the back of his hand as he wiped at his mouth. Silver-grey eyes scanned the room, taking in the music, the noise, the games of dice and cards. Still other patrons spun and swayed together, their bodies moving in concert with each other. The grin he flashed the Accepted as he shifted in his chair was wide and crooked. He dropped his elbows onto the table and leaned forward onto them, bringing his face closer to his companion’s.

“But enough of such unpleasantness. I am curious. You sling mud well enough, but I believe the true questions of the night are... do you dice or play cards, Tia Tomosan?” Zeen cocked his head to the side, a brow lifting as he stood. The world tilted for a moment and he found that he could not stop the sudden laugh that escaped him. He flourished into a deep bow, watching her from beneath half lidded eyes. He lifted his hand, palm facing upwards, and held it out to her. “Do you dance?”

Tia Tomosan
The drink was doing its job by distracting Tia from the unpleasantness of what had been. The tavern seemed warmer than it had been, the music and laughter louder. She would likely regret her indulgence in the morning, but in that moment, the Accepted did not care. She’d been far too serious for far too long, and deserved a night to have fun. She deserved to smile, and laugh and feel good, if even for a fleeting moment.

Was it perhaps questionable that she was doing those things in the company of an Asha’man who happened to be Captain General? Her mother and father would likely say yes, as would a goodly number of other people at the Tower, but Tia did not care. None of those same people would deny she needed a moment to enjoy herself.

A cheer behind her hinted at a game of dice happening in one corner of the Tavern. The musicians were in fine form, playing lively tunes, and it seemed the light-hearted atmosphere went to Zeen’s head as he stood up and asked if she diced, or played cards. She laughed at each of these, because she didn’t, but then he asked if she danced.

Her laughter trailed off, but the smile was still firmly in place as Tia met Zeen’s gaze and placed her hand in his, “I do dance, and you can thank my mother and Memma for it.” She let him guide her to her feet, and found herself laughing again as the room seemed to go off kilter for a fleeting second. “I am not sure I would have pegged you for a dancer, Zeen.”

The tavern wasn’t so big that the pair had to go far to reach the designated dance floor. Tia felt heat on her cheeks once again as Zeen placed his hand on her waist, and she did the same. The song was a lively one, and as soon as their hands were in the appropriate places the pair were off, Tia unable to help the laugh that came as their feet began to move. The smile that had long since been absent from her face found its way to her lips once again. She somehow managed not to step on his toes, nor he on hers. “Where did you learn to dance like this?!” she asked, surprised at how well they both seemed to do given the alcohol they’d consumed.

Zeen
Zeen’s grin was wide and playful as he and Tia spun gracefully round and round. His hip bumped into a table that oddly appeared out of nowhere and he gave the amused occupants his most disarming smile. Strange that he had not seen it until he was practically stepping onto it. Perhaps the idea that he moved gracefully was an exaggeration, but he truly did not care if he looked ridiculous. And that wonderful distinct lack of caring was not all from the drink he had imbibed either.

“I am not a particularly skilled dancer by any means, but I get by,” the Amadician answered lightly in the lulls between the lively music, his hands shifting against his companion's shoulder and waist. “I learned at court,” he continued, his expression turning rueful. “I was forced to attend in my youth and did not take to it as well as I could have.” The corners of silver-grey eyes crinkled and the grin was back. “But your toes have not been trampled upon, so perhaps I learned enough to spare you that indignity.”

Absently, he plucked at the front of his shirt. The thin material was beginning to stick to him. He smiled faintly to himself; why had he let Tia lace it all the way up again? The heat was suddenly stifling and it took all the willpower he possessed not to simply haul the offending article of clothing off entirely. The Asha’man shook his head, pushing his hands through his hair. His discomfort was a minor thing - the Accepted was smiling again and it did his heart good to see the warm expression returned to her face. He felt himself grinning at the flush that stained her cheeks, the silver-grey of his eyes sparkling mischievously as the slow tones of a ballad began.

“Another dance, my lady Tia?” He flourished into another deep bow, taking her hand in his and brushing his lips against the backs of her knuckles. “Or, if you wish it, we can invade the bar again and then find ourselves a new table to drink at?”
OOC: Feel free to have this go where ever! I am game for it. <3

Tia Tomosan
Tia watched as Zeen brought the back of her hand up to his lips and was sure her heart skipped a beat. As the Green Asha’man came up from his flourished bow, she found herself laughing softly while her hands went to the tie on his shirt. Giving a playful tug to loosen the tie, she flashed a grin, “I would likely regret it if I didn’t get at least one more dance from you tonight. Dance, then drink.”

“As you wish, my Lady Tia,” Zeen said with another flourished bow before pulling her close for their slow dance.

The Accepted realized she might not have thought her request through as the ballad required the pair to dance much closer than the faster tempo dances they’d participated in thus far. Zeen seemed to tower over her, but she looked up to meet those grey eyes, and found she couldn’t look away. It seemed her evening was taking a very unexpected turn.

The ballad eventually came to an end, and Tia found she was reluctant to let go. Without missing a beat, Zeen slipped his arm through hers to head to the bar for more mead. The Accepted hesitated, and then giggled as she shook her head, “I’m not sure I need any more to drink. The room is already moving of its own accord. Perhaps some fresh air. . .or somewhere a little less crowded would be good, though?”
