My name is Luke, I've recently joined your lovely writing community with a freshly written character, a novice named Rashaiya Kazin. She's a Domani (and Seanchan on her mother's side). I've written her as a new arrival to the Grey Tower, but I'm still in the process of familiarizing myself with the plot, checking in with my mentor and planning stuff out. Some small details may change once I've got better footing!
A few relevant details about me: I first read The Eye of the World about 20 years ago, promptly got hooked, and then more or less read the latter books as they came out. I've started the long journey of reading through them again and am almost finished with book three. I've also been playing table-top role playing games with a few friends for about ten years, we are no strangers to the Wheel of Time rpg. I've also been writing online for almost as long, though the vast majority of that has been in science fiction genres; I'm a big Star Trek fan.
This is strangely my first time joining a WoT writing community (I can't explain why I didn't get into it and find you guys sooner). I'm no stranger to solo and joint-writing. I haven't been a part of a community quite like this one but I'm confident that I'll become familiar with the organization, pace, formatting and all that stuff.
Uhh, think that's about it for now, don't want to start off rambling too much. My character is already written in the 'Novice Book' so check her out if you'd like. I'll be looking to add a picture or two, and of course some additional tower history will probably get tacked on soon. I imagine my character eventually gravitating towards the White Ajah but IC it's probably too early to tell.
