A feature I just discovered

So, this may be old news to other people, but I just found my salvation in a feature on this forum.

You can BOOKMARK threads! (You can also subscribe to them, if you want to get notifications. I don't....I get enough email as it is.)

To bookmark, you go to the bottom of the thread, click the little wrench icon, and select "Bookmark thread."

Why would you do that?

Because you can bookmark all the threads you are actively involved in. Then go up to your name in the upper right of the forum, click on "User Control Panel" and click on "Manage Bookmarks." Boom. INSTANT tracker. No need for formatting links, no need to reorganize things...they're just there. It's better than my search link trick, because you can bookmark threads you haven't yet posted in, too! When the thread is done, you can remove it from the list with two clicks. Super easy.

I am probably way more excited about this than other people will be, but. I decided to share anyway. ^_^

I'm automatically subscribed to every thread I post in myself, but I don't mind the torrent of emails. You can even subscribe to forums, if you want to know when anything is posted.

I am aware it is a feature on most forums, avyra (since I didn't add it). I shared because not every one knows it exists, and there are some I know will find it very useful.

I bookmark threads I want to know when someone's posted in, so I can get a notification but not an email.

I subscribe to the ones that I am actively RP in, so I can get an email when a reply is made.

The emails bother me. xD I'd rather just let my ADD come out to play when I visit.

I don't use emails (mainly because I don't exactly regularly check the one I have on file here). I usually just do the new posts feature.
