Avyra felt herself get tossed a bit when he dislodged her grip, and she didn't catch her balance in time to avoid being pushed away. His strength caused her to stumble quite a bit, and she was unprepared for the next two hits that followed. The second hit didn't connect because the first had slammed into her ribcage, sending her flying into the sand with a crack, where she rolled and fell still for a moment, shock overtaking her being. It hurt. A lot. She couldn't move for a bit, her breaths coming in gasps. No. She wasn't going to lose like this. She set her jaw to offset the pain in her chest. Instead of standing, she remained still, feigning unconsciousness. The only sign of life from the tiny Novice was the rising and falling of her chest.

Danos
Danos winced as he felt his knee connect with Avyra's rib cage. He had not committed full strength to the blow, but he could feel the blow shift bone under the skin with a loud crack.
He immediately pulled back as much force as he could, but she was still tossed upon the ground. And as she lay there, not moving, Danos could feel his panic rise.
As the moment stretched he finally decided she needed aide, and so he came over , stopping to pick her up in his arms and get her to the Infirmary.

When she felt him pick her up she suddenly started squirming, trying weakly to continue an attack, but she was stopped short by a fit of coughing. "I.." She paused, falling limp again in his arms. "That. Didn't work the way I imagined it would. I think you broke my ribs." She chuckled softly, leaning into his chest. "I'm so foolish. Why did I think this would work?" Avyra winced, then gave another painful cough. "I hope the Yellows can fix this." Shockingly enough, she seemed calm about the situation.
The Infirmary was, for the most part, silent, save for a humming Yellow Sister. She was sorting through some herbs due to the slow day. Her work was cut short, however, but the sound of a door and the appearance of a huge man carrying a rather small, she was probably the smallest woman she had ever seen, in his arms. The Sister didn't know if she was a Drin or a Novice; she wasn't in uniform, but she would fuss about that later. "Put her on the bed. Hurry."

Danos
Luckily Avyra weighed nothing for man of Danos' height and weight. Danos was glad as he walked as briskly down the pathways leading to the Infirmary, pausing only when Avyra's rib brought on another fit of coughing.
Danos was glad when a sister took charge, and gently laid his friend down on the bed. "We were sparring and she took a very hard blow to the ribs. I got her here as soon as she complained of bad pain Aes Sedia," said Danos concerned.

Avyra rolled her eyes at him. She had not complained! But she put up with the Sister examining her, and she eventually began to Delve into Avyra's wounds. "Three cracked ribs. You're lucky," the Yellow Sister said, glancing at Danos. "And a spar? With him? No wonder I haven't seen you in here earlier." "Actually I did, Aes Sedai," she said. "I burned my arm making tea." The Sister sighed, then told Avyra that she was about to heal her, commanding her to embrace the Source if she could. The Novice nodded, doing as she said while she gripped the sheets. The sensation was awful, even worse than before. Like being suddenly dunked into ice water. As soon as it came it went, and Avyra felt weak, hungry. The Sister nodded. "Stay here for a few minutes. Then go get food. I'll bring you some tea." Once the Yellow Sister had left, Avyra laughed softly. "Yeah, what a mess, hm?"

Danos
Danos looked down at his friend, glad to hear that the Healing had taken effect. He felt ashamed that he had cracked three ribs because of him.
"Luckily the Sisters here know their task. Light I never thought such a blow would do that much damage," Danos said as he took Avyra's hand.
"I think it's safe to say you need a Gaidar instructor. Perhaps with the staff or such, I do not know that Unarmed is a grea fit. Although I will watch over my shoulder for your cougar attack technique," chuckled Danos warmly.

She let him hold her hand, sighing softly. "It wasn't your fault, trust me. I didn't think I was this fragile." Avyra paused when the Yellow Sister returned, sitting up with some difficulty when she brought a mug of hot tea. "Drink that whole thing, then you can go," the Yellow Sister said, then she looked at Danos. "You might have to help her, Drin. Holding the Source helps with healing, but she still might not be strong enough to walk." The Aes Sedai didn't seem concerned about Avyra, so she left the room again to go do other tasks. Avyra sipped at her tea, then rolled her eyes at Danos. "Well, you can sit, you know. You don't have to stand there; you must be tired too."

Danos
Danos grabbed a chair from nearby and sat down on it, stretching his long legs as much as he able to beside the Infirmary bed. He was glad when the Sister entered quickly and departed, clearly with her instructions Avyra was mended, or soon would be. The One Power really is a miracle when it comes to Healing thought Danos in awe as he thought of how long it would take someone to heal from broken ribs normally.
"Luckily the Yellow Sister was able to Heal you. And I don't know what they put in that cup, but it sure helped me find my feet after Kaia Sedai healed my wounds. Have you learnt to Heal yet? Or is that something they teach much later? It just seems to me an incredible power to be able to learn," said Danos waving at the Infirmary surrounding them.

Avyra laughed, taking a sip of tea. "No, no. I tried, actually, but we couldn't get past delving. That's where you assess the wounds. Elia said I had done well on it, but healing required far more ability than I have now, mainly with seeing the weaves I create." She wrapped her hand around his fingers the best she could, sighing. "Ah, I still want to spar, but I don't think we could do it together without me being hurt. Its not your fault; I'm just too small for this." She actually seemed a bit ashamed of this, but she quickly brushed it away. Aes Sedai did not show emotion. "It would be helpful, just in case I can't channel and need to defend myself. But I suppose that's what a Warder is for, hm?" She took another few sips, watching Danos. "Have you thought about bonding, in general? I haven't really put much thought into the subject."

Danos
Danos thought for a moment when Avyra asked him, remembering a conversation he had enjoyed with a Novice in the Armoury. "Actually, Seonin and myself had talked a little on the subject, and I had discussed it with Marzell Sedai, the one who healed me in Jornhill before I came to the Grey Tower. Seonin seemed to equate it a lot to her situation as a damane , but I guess after watching some of the Gaidin and their Sisters here I can see the benefits. I know almost nothing about how the Aes Sedai organize themselves here, or the Ashaman for that matter, so I suppose before I seriously thought about bonding, that would be first. Would do little good to offer myself as a Warder to someone who never leaves the kitchens or gardens," said Danos with a chuckle. He couldn't get the idea of a Gaidin, stirring pots and slicing vegetables out of his head, and he laughed with a snort. Light, I must be tired, it wasn't that funny thought Danos as a yawn threatened to crack his jaw.
"What about you Avyra? Does the Ajah you are considering require Warders?" asked Danos interested in a Novice's reasoning around the bond.
