(BA/Jaryd) Entertaining plot twist, anyone interested?

So...it came up in a recent thread that a certain learning rank might think Jaryd is Black Ajah.

He isn't. He never will be. However, I could totally see some people adding up the numbers and coming up with the wrong total, so to speak, and I think it would be GREAT to play it out.

Would anyone be interested in participating in that particular witch hunt in a long term sort of way? Maybe a few people could believe he's Black. Maybe the Black Ajah could sow chaos by instigating the rumors. It would be a passive thing, at least for now- just something to include if/when your characters think about / mention / interact with Jaryd.

Over some amount of (RL) time it could escalate into something suitably dramatic / entertaining / tragic (aka: confrontation and/or trial) with its own thread.

Some plot points to consider about why anyone would suspect Jaryd-

- He hides all of his everything behind Wards. You can't so much as touch his door without him knowing.
- He's constantly popping in and out
- Amadie's unexplained, but apparently extremely violent, death
- Carra's disappearance and subsequent injuries
- The current plot where he's going to be bringing back a Stilled WT Red for Healing
- He disappeared for a time, and while he was gone part of Cairhien got blown up and there are crazy rumors of a Dreadlord being involved.
- He spent time in the Black Tower
- He is sarcastic and surly to those he doesn't like
- He is Red Ajah
- He has a super shady past
- He spend a considerable amount of time as a Dedicated researching False Dragons and the Shadow.

I could go on. lol. Just some publicly accessible fodder!

I would offer, but I think there may be other ongoing concerns that Ravak will have to attend to first. If/when I get my second character, I'd be more than willing to hunt Jaryd down for the Light-forsaken dog that he is.

Hmmm... Depending on how things work out in a separate RP between Mehrin and Kaia, Mehrin might join in as a less-than-willing participant. Again, that depends on how things work out.

Jerid's more than willing to submit to a witch hunt! It's no secret he doesn't like [White Tower] Red Aes Sedai. He's suspicious of anyone with secrets (ironic, considering he keeps so many), has killed several Dreadlords in his time (he has a knack for attracting bad guys), and he is extremely protective of the Tower, especially when his youngest son is in the Tower. And as a former Keeper, Jerid's kind of self-obligated to ensure the M'Hael and Amyrlin Seat are safe (pride talking).
