Nate Carridus, Asha'man of the Blue Ajah A reflective person might have reconsidered the plan, as close as one could call it a plan anyway. But "reflective" was not an adjective one would often use to describe Nate, and in this moment he was more focussed on the more exciting things that surround reflection. Namely, the action.

One would also not describe Nate as light on his feet or, indeed, deft of foot, but there was almost a skip in his step as he traversed the Gateway into Tar Valon.

Like a sensible person not-quite-planning a siege, Nate had opted for an area he was familiar with and fairly certain was out of the way of particular prying eyes. It was the gardens of a well to do household not far from the White Tower grounds, one Nate was optimistic wasn't being used for this False Dragon's schemes. Given the silence as boots crunched on cold leaves, Nate was glad to avoid the finding out part that often comes after fucking around.

He turned to see who followed along. The little Red, he was surprised to see break away from the others. Ajahs sticking together and all that. Not that he minded the company, he had a jolly good time with Gretchen and she was as red as they got.

The old guy who went by Mat was also toddling after them which, hey, all the more power to him. Nate hadn't expected that either. But then if one didn't spend a lot of time reflecting, how could they spend any real time expecting? The Blue offered the pair a wry grin, opening his arms in a welcoming gesture as he turned to take in their surroundings. Andraste looked ready to follow him wherever. Mat... it was difficult to discern between the nooch face and the wrinkles.

"Welcome to Tar Valon," he said, keeping his deep voice low despite the grin being all too loud. "The Tower is down the road over that garden wall there." A brick wall, not entirely solid but not really latticed enough to be described as such in a high-key manner, sat between them and the oddly quiet streets of the city-state. The big Blue took the map from Andraste to pinpoint their location for their viewing pleasure. "There's going to be some of Zeig's top channellers keeping guard. Together they outnumber us. If we can get them alone, I think we can subdue them. I'd rather do it quietly if I can but I'm also ready to get lightning on this area. Any thoughts, feelings, opinions, let's hear 'em now, but I'm not having an hour's meeting about it. I'm here to raise a fuss until the Ajahs get their plans in motion. We swoop in, we make a mess, and we retreat until the heat dies down a bit. Rinse and repeat. If the others get the ter'angreal, then all the better."
