Danos
OOC: Last post from me as well.
Danos listened as Avram explained that the bet he had placed was sort of a counter against the thieves and cons of the Foregate in Cairhein. Wheels within wheels , it truly is a city to be on your guard in thought Danos as he recalled the remarks his Uncle had always made on the city
"I'm just glad you weren't being fleeced, to be honest. That would be a truly impressive pile of wool, given your size." Avram said with a half smile arching the side of his mouth as he teased his much taller roommate.
Danos chuckled and shrugged his shoulders as he looked over at the woman who was leaving. "When you have a Tinker mend your pots, it's your fault if you don't count the spoons," he quoted a favourite saying of Jornhill quietly.
"I'm glad that we both lost the bet as well then. I wouldn't wish a trip to Master Darrow on anyone if I could help it. And I can only imagine how he would view conning on of our own," Danos said thoughtfully.
Still the chore was easy enough to fill, and there would be little consequence beyond that. He was also glad to have seen a little more of Avram's sharp mind and knowledge. And Natlya would be someone Danos wouldn't forget, he knew that for sure.
