A light on the water, all souls pass
An the award for original post title goes too...
...not me!
So, I am new here *buffs the shiny new account* but I do know at least one person here which is moderately encouraging. Although it leaves me wide open to reveal as much or as little as I choose now about myself - not that I have many interesting secrets to share or anything but who doesn't love a good old-fashioned mystery, especially with a solid twist!
I am from the United Kingdom (UK) and I live near London, at the moment I don't work due to a long-term illness and am therefore a full-time stay at home mother to two lovely daughters. I am married and I love to read and write. These have been my enduring hobbies for as long as I can remember and at least one of my daughters seems to have inherited the trait so it will live on long after me. Now that is a legacy to be proud of, eh? You'll probably hear a lot more about them both over the duration of my time here. I love them dearly and they are my favorite people in the whole world.
I have read three of the books and the prologue one as well. Which makes FOUR in total. I stopped reading them because I figured out the majority of the plot and they were rather expensive to buy at £8 a pop or around $15 each. A little much to invest in a book series that at the time I wasn't sure when it would end.
I liked them enough to keep the ones I had and I keep up to date with the rest of the story, so I know how it ends and what does on. So don't worry about spoilers BUT as it has been years since I sat and read any of them cover to cover I will be reading through the information on the site to make sure my understanding holds after all this time. I'll also be asking questions so be aware of that happening. It is the way I roll...I don't know - then I ask.
It seems to have worked out fairly well so far at least.
If you have any questions of me don't hesitate to ask. I am pretty much an open book about most things and I am honest enough to tell you when to back off if you come to close to a sensitive topic. The same applies to my writing and character(s) - ask if you have an idea and usually I'll run with the whole plot. I am very much of the school of encouraging action, drama, surprise and putting my creations way outside their comfort zones as that is when I see the most growth taking place.
So that is it for now!
Here I am and here I'll stay!

*cuddles the Astarte* I'm happy to have you here! Although it'll be fascinating to me to watch you keep to one character until you can have a second... >.>
This is my friend from Black Jewel rps. She is lovely, creative and a master of plot and graphics.
(I'm sure it helps that I fixed the posting settings....

As for the fascination...well we shall see. I like the challenge of one character to build and play with, though they won't appear until I have a full grasp on the direction they will head in and not until morning (my time) as I need to sleep if anything I type stands any chance of actually managing to make any sort of sense.
Thanks for the welcome!

I am looking forward to it as well - if you have any suggestions or a wanted ad that needs filling don't hesitate to let me know. I have picked a Novice, looking to take on White (nominally at the moment) and from Andor - everything else is open as the concept settles into my brain and takes shape properly.Bella wrote:Hello! Re: A light on the water, all souls pass
Oh I'd love that! Perhaps starting as an antagonist relationship and developing into a friendship over time through a series of (comical) misadventures and the like? I am nothing if not prone to long and semi-planned events to challenge and torment my characters with as much as possible! So, yes I'd love that.Estel wrote:NEW NOVICE!!!! *tackles*
