An Attack Of Memories (Open)

It was so strange being back, strange and lonely.
Sarkaska was busy in the training yards, where he was most comfortable, and she had been reacquainting herself with the Grey Tower. So much had changed since she had been here last, she had left as a young and naive girl, and come back a bigger fool than that girl had ever been. She had been swept along, drawn out by lies, lies that others had told her and then those others had come back to the Tower not long after. She had not, she had believed those lies for longer, but now she was back. She had been welcomed back, and now she was trying to figure out where she stood.
Not many knew why she had left, and that was for the best. Few had asked were Jenin was, the younger and prettier women, and Tamora had spoken honestly that she did not know. Because she did not, and that was the way she liked it. And she noticed the way Sarkaska growled softly at the mention of his name. After all, he had been the one who had originally told her of Jenin's affair.
The sun was low on the horizon as she walked through the gardens. She had wandered out of the Green courtyard, and into the general gardens without even really noticing before. She was dressed in a long blue dress, her green shawl draped over her elbows as she walked. She almost looked lost as she wandered, her eyes hardly even seeing her surroundings.
