The Grey Tower

It's been a little less than 18 months since I agreed to captain this ship, and in that time I have had the privilege of working with an amazing group of people who has done an outstanding amount of work to recreate and improve upon this site. I cannot emphasize enough- the team that is currently running this site is absolutely fantastic, and I trust them hands down to keep going in the same way they began.

Unfortunately, it's time for me to step down and away, and let the site continue on its own. I have too many pressing matters to address in real life and I have a bad habit of putting those things on the back burner indefinitely in favor of escaping online. I don't want to get into too much detail, but my internet use has gone far beyond 'habit' and into a pretty bad place, and I have to make it stop now so I can start pulling myself together.

On a less selfish note, the Grey Tower deserves to have a M'hael who is consistently present and available, and I look forward to seeing who is voted in! There are so many plot options right now, it's exciting to think of which direction the Tower may go next.

We all do what we must to take best care of yourselves, so even if you and I don't know one another, I'm still glad to know you'll be doing that. And I hope that when you're able to return, we can perhaps get a chance to write together.

You will most definitely be missed and I have lots of hope for your eventual return if you are able. Like I said in another thread, taking care of yourself and your family is always #1. <3
