Seth Arcuraim
Seth had always enjoyed a good drink with his brothers, though he rarely ever drank alcohol. It was a simple gesture, something that he thought any man would do for their brother. He didn't have any siblings personally, so the Asha'man and Aes Sedai of the Grey Tower were the closest he had.
As it were, after many weeks on the road, returning to the Tower news reached his ears of who the new Keeper of the Archives was. Approaching the man, Seth extended an invitation to him.
"Jaryd, would you care to join me for a drink at the Band of Brothers? As a congratulations."
Seth was grinning broadly, and he didn't expect a response there and then, but who would turn down a free drink? Seth strode away, destined for his rooms, before a trip to the Infirmary. Jaryd's desk was likely as piled high with paperwork as it had been when Seth had left the office the last time, with all of the things he had to do, it would be a miracle of the Light if he managed to get to the Band of Brothers, knowing Jaryd Seth knew the man would find a way.
Seth was never in a rush when he did work in the Infirmary. Someone dragged him in to help supervise a lesson in Healing, and it was a good while before he managed to extricate himself to his rooms. As the sun sunk over the horizon, Seth donned his black hat and some not so stark clothing, and made his way to Hama Valon.
It was almost as though he was a different person when he entered wearing his different cloaks or none at all. Patrons always looked up from their drinks to see the newcomer, no matter who. If Seth wore his Gleeman's cloak and offered a flutter, they started cheering, knowing they were in for a song and story. If he entered wearing his black one, they fell silent, perhaps muttering, "greetings, Asha'man," on occasion. It was funny to think they either thought he was two different people or just knew he was there for a good time if he wore his Gleeman's cloak. He hadn't bothered to ask anyone.
Seth picked a table in the back of the room facing the door and sat waiting to see if Jaryd turned up. He was happy either way, he had done some work, and was out of the tower for the evening.
