…if you mean in the I’d really love some attention kind of way.

I’m basically looking to get Johan here up and running, and I’m pretty much open to all and any ideas. I'm not the sort of person that'll say 'no'. I’d even be willing to throw him off a cliff… if you give him something to land on. I don't want to kill him just yet. xD

Some of the things that are good to know about him:

• He grew up in the Rahad in dire poverty, so everything in the Tower is pretty much amazing and wonderful and very much oh my god, and sometimes he doesn’t quite know where to look or even how to act. Do you take your shoes off when there’s carpet-? Are you actually allowed to touch things-? And is it true that you get meals three times a day? Basically, he’s very much in need of some help adjusting to the complete contrast in worlds. It’s likely something he’s never going to get used to.
• It’s probably no surprise, but Johan doesn’t actually know how to read or write. He’d love to be able to, but it wasn’t something that ever came up when he was growing up. If he had ever been given a book, he probably would have used the pages to keep the fire going. But words help you learn things, and he very much wants to learn.
• And speaking of wanting to learn: Anything to do with fighting and fighting, and even more fighting would be absolutely wonderful. He doesn’t have plans on being a Warder (shh!), but he’s definitely very much intent on becoming skilled enough to look after himself. He’s learnt that people will pay good money for mercenaries and bodyguards. It’s better than stealing. It could mean he could actually get some where.
• And stealing, when you’ve done for most of your life, is a very hard habit to break. Maybe he gets caught. Maybe he doesn’t realise that you're allowed to have as much food as you want from the dining hall.

And then there's the usual I'd really just love for him to make some friends and meet some people.

So, yes, I’d absolutely love for him to have some plots and threads.

Jaryd is also from the Rahad, also a thief, also a fighter. Johan may very well "know of" him / the gang he ran / they may even know some of the same people, though they would be much older for Johan than they are for Jaryd.

Jaryd is also quite proficient at wielding a dueling dagger and more than willing to evaluate if you're wanting to do that.

The only thing to really be aware of is that Jaryd's bondmate and lover recently died and as she was the bond holder (sort of), he's...kinda bleak right now.

Cat, I offer up my humble drin. He is a more quiet individual but would be open to a thread where he could teach johan how to read or anything you would like. He grew up alone and spent a chunk of his boyhood in the wild fending for himself but wants friends even though he doesnt show it.

Av is a walking trashcan, she loves birds and eats dessert before meal. #rebel

I'm open for anything, honestly.

Haha! What are the chances? But! I love it when there is already some type of connections in place, so I’d be totally up for Johan having heard of him at the very least. Maybe they did know some of the same people. I’m not sure, though, whether that’d be a good thing or a bad thing. xD

It’d be great, too, if Jaryd could evaluate him, because I’m not quite sure how Johan would handle that one. It’s very much his skill, the whole duelling thing, and he’s the best, and I think he’d find it difficult coming across someone who comes from the same background as him and is better. Competition! No!

And I think the whole thing with the bondmate could make things more interesting, because that, too, would be kind of new for him.

That’d be awesome if he could teach him! I’m not quite sure how it would happen, because I think the whole reading thing is something that Johan’s very embarrassed about, because, well, why wouldn’t you be, and he’d keep quiet about it? They could be in a lesson, maybe, or have a random meeting, and have it just crop up?

Lol! Two walking trashcans meeting! I’d be up for that. Um… the only thing I can think of is some random meeting. Johan’s not used to being around girls that aren’t related to him, and certainly not ones that can channel, and that’d probably lead to all sorts of awkwardness, especially if the girl also breaks etiquette and eats dessert before meals. I mean, how can you do that? That’s not how things are done! #worstrebelever Soooo maybe something along those lines?

Im cool with a random meet that can down the line come out that johan cant read. Artur is very observant he could pick up on it.

I've got a child, Kaira, who can be anywhere from 5 yrs old to 14 yrs old. Daughter of the current Master of Training and a dead Black Ajah Aes Sedai. She is outgoing, lively, and a chatterbox. And she loves drawing and poking people with her toy (or real) sword.

She can catch him stealing something (gasp!), and then we can roll from there. If you'd like to write, just let me know what age she should be.

My novice, Velvaen, is also new. I'd totally be up for a thread! Maybe they meet in the Warder Yards? She's a pacifist, so she might get upset/curious about his violent past.

That would be great! I always like scenarios where I’m not sure how he’s going to react, especially because I don’t think he’d expect to encounter a kid. I’m open to any her being any age. Maybe 10 or so?

Yup! We can totally do that. I can start something, if you like, and see where it goes from there? He’d probably be very closed-mouthed about his past, because he’s what you call rather proud and the idea of people knowing that he used to basically live on the streets is mortifying.
