Avyra Moeryr
| She just wanted to be alone. Nobody seemed to understand that. Everywhere that she went there were people. And everytime she told then what was wrong she was given the same stupid advice. "Your height and size doesn't matter. You can channel." It wasn't like she could do anything else; she was never spoken to because she was never noticed. Unless she seemed to be visibly upset. Avyra considered holeing herself up in her room. But she'd just end up getting bugged by someone. So she was out, hoping to find a place where no one knew where she was. It hurt, sometimes. To feel like nothing. Alone because nobody could even see you because you didn't even reach the shoulders of most people. Not considered regal or beautiful. Being seen as weak. Powerless. She hated it all. This wouldn't be an issue if she were tall and beautiful. The inside of the Tower was too packed, and the outside offered more chances to hide. She made her way out, pausing by a tree. She could climb it. It was her tree. She almost forgot about her tree. Everything had changed so much. The tree made her think of Ravak, who she hadn't seen much of. When she did see him, however, he looked sad and angry. She wanted to give him a hug. He didn't deserve to feel that way. She did. She still needed to return his book. Finding a spot out of the way, she sat down to think on everything, but each time she reached the same dangerous conclusion. She wouldn't be good at much here. She should leave before she was called to the Stairs. She didn't fit. She was nothing. |
