Gauging interest: an actual "pokemon" style Big RP

Premise:

A random Brown comes back from a Portal World with some odd critters to study. She intends on keeping them in her study, but somehow they escape into the gardens. Once free they begin to multiply, rather like tribbles (but maybe not quite THAT bad). They're mostly harmless to the world around them, but they like to fight each other and they don't do well long term in our world. It quickly becomes apparent that they need to be caught and taken back where they came from.

Dax, being the lazy ne'er-do-well that he is, is hooked into helping to round them up. Rather than do it himself (because who has the time? Not him), he gathers the learning ranks (and anyone else interested), splits them into three groups, and sends them off to fetch the critters for him. This process would take quite a while. Some of the people hunting the creatures would figure out that they learn extremely fast, and they can be trained to fight. Some of them might even have some super minor "magical" effects due to their Portal World origins. ;)

The end result would be that all the creatures are rounded up and returned to the Portal World, because the sad truth is that they can't stay in our world for too long or they will die. (or something. Some reason they HAVE to go back.)

In terms of writing the RP would essentially be Pokemon GO without the pokeballs. Go catch the thing, train the thing, have the thing fight the other things. If you bring a creature back to Dax, you get some sort of prize, but then you have to find a new creature. You can't have more than one at once, because this world does not have pokeballs. :P If you bring him many different kinds of creatures, or an extremely well-trained creature, you get a super special prize.

My involvement would be limited to "bring Dax the creatures" - it would be 100% dependent on you, the players, to keep things going.

Thoughts?

I will happily offer Maever as a "Pokémon centre" to heal any critters who may get injured during the fighting.

This would be super low-key / just for random fun, by the way. There is another MRP coming up, and don't want to overload people. :)

Happy to offer Katrie. I'll be taking two Shara's in the next 2 months so something low key would be preferred so I don't hold anyone up. ;)
