The 'Blademaster'

Men of all sorts come to the Grey Tower. Some seek the guidance of Riahana and her Yards in order to become Gaidin and Warders. Other seek the tutelage of Jaryd and the Asha'man. Regardless of which side of the Tower they choose, very few walk through the gates of the Grey Tower with a heron-marked blade by their hip.
Captain Alric Aurella may just buck the trend. In a daring combat, Alric killed a blademaster and took the weapon as his own. Or, at least that's what the men of his former unit would like you to believe. The truth isn't as simple, nor is the fact that Captain Aurella seems blissfully ignorant of his ability with the One Power. Soon his caravan will come into town, and as the saying goes, the Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills.
I would like to welcome Soldier Alric Aurella, and his writer Locke, to the Grey Tower.
