I have a particular problem, and I need assistance to find the solution.

Ravak Darrow has no friends*.

Despite being quite a reasonable person, when you get down to it, he doesn't have a solid track record of keeping the people he engages with close for long. Katrie was Rav's first real friend, but that relationship somewhat ended with Rav attempting to kill Katrie's warder in the streets of Hama Valon. Next was Sinead, the Aiel Accepted that Rav disappeared into the Wastes with, and returned alone. Which of course endeared him greatly to Riahana, Mirin, and Kaia, the latter of whom unbonded him as a result of his errant, self-centred escapade.

Oh, and let's not even talk about Elia. Can you even include your sister as a friend? I dunno.

So Rav's done a good job of ostracising himself from everyone. Even saving someone's life doesn't get the thanks it deserves any more. It leaves one feeling quite a bit alone, even when they're meant to be this integral cog in the machine that is the Warder Yards.

So yes, I'm looking for someone for Rav to befriend / to befriend Rav. Probably more the latter, as he is getting the feeling he's earned his isolation from society. I have some ideas in my head of meeting someone in Hama Valon, whilst Rav is shopping for books, or a pipe (he's thinking smoking may make him seem more approachable for some reason). If anyone is interested, let me know.

Any ideas for how to continue that thread? I would honestly prefer to start a new one, mainly due to rank change.

Oh, of course a new thread. Avyra just got a purse of money, right? I imagine she will want to buy some stuff from the city?

She probably has the equivalent of $2, but she'll still go into the city anyway, if just to hang out and see all there is to see.

I'd love to help out! But...it's really early in the morning, and I'm not entirely certain which of my characters would be a good candidate.

Although, I'm sure Jhanic would love to have a conversation about Rav's...um... *cough* ink.

I believe Terric also wants to have words about Ravak's tattoo. Everyone is so jealous. >_>

We could definitely kick off something with Jhanic and Ravak. Would you wish to wait 'til you're back from Shara? I'm not fussed, but I don't want to lay on any unnecessary pressure.
