So Avram is going to be starting an Illicit gambling ring. I was thinking of starting it with NPCs and kind of working out from there, but where's the fun in that?

I'm looking for people who'd be interested in either participating in it or helping to run it and be capable of running it without getting caught. I have permission from the MoT to not get caught, but I don't want to abuse that so characters helping run it would have to be discreet.

I have the structure of it mostly fleshed out, but if people want to give input on that I'll still take them. I've never run one of these in real life as far as any investigation needs to know >.>

Especially looking for input on forms of gambling that would work. Floating dice and cards games are happening, and I'm thinking taking bets on major, well known in advance spars, but I'm still open to new ideas there too.

Fiona's not the type to be knowingly involved in illegal activities, but given Avram is personally aware of her stupid levels of luck AND she enjoys dicing, you're welcome to work that into your plots if you find it useful. Just let me know and I'll toss her in for a post or two.

I'm trying to make Nat turn over a new leaf, but I don't know she'll ever be able to get too far from it. Count her in, if you like!

Do people race horses? That would be a huge moneymaker!

@Marla Much appreciated. Fiona may well be an invited guest, though the rules will ensure that some part of the winnings make it into Avram's pockets

@Bella If you're down for it Nat may well be one of the first people recruited to help run it. Think of it as a new leaf in that she's not actually taking things from people, they're just giving it to her. They know the odds, it's not her fault that they gamble their money away. And some goes to the house for its trouble. Nothing wrong about it really.

@Jenny I think they're going to start now. There probably won't be horse races on the grounds, but maybe the actual races are out around Hama Valon or the surrounding area and the little ones get to bet on them and rely on the results being right. Which they will be mostly.

@Jenn Guidance can be given! It can be a great structure for someone to form a new life around. People she can trust and she knows what happens with. And she gets money. I think she would like the part where she gets money.

I offer Paks, because as much as she's determined to prove herself, she's still very much her carefree self, and I need to start showing that side of her.

I'm in the middle of writing Avram's survival test, which will kick start the whole thing. I want to start threads basically as soon as the promotion is confirmed so I'm trying to get the structure he would work out worked out ahead of time.I have my ideas worked out here. Feel free to make any suggestions or changes that you think would make it better.
