The Grey Tower

Hey guys,

So this MRP is dragging on quite a bit due to various things. I'm still excited about the plot, but... yeah. Long time is long.

It occurred to me last night after talking with some other admins that the major plot line in the MRP could actually be concluded with one mega-thread from Jenn, Roan, and I, thus freeing others to go about their business in the aftermath in whatever way they see fit, and the smaller plots to be written out in a more leisurely fashion without impacting the entire site.

Are people really looking forward to writing about the Tower being directly attacked, or would you prefer to move on quickly?

PS: For the record I am involved in two "side plots" that I'd like to finish writing up- Jerid vesus Jaryd and Fiona & Co's Excellent Adventure. They can be done "outside MRP time," however...if that makes sense?

Is it bad that I don't really have an opinion on the matter?
Like, I haven't done too much anyway, so it really doesn't matter to me what happens; I'm just gonna go along with whatever happens at this point.

I would personally count apathy as a "wrap it up" vote.

I am all for finishing it up.

I'm voting to wrap it up. I'd like to start planning and writing for my characters again.

On the fence about this one. As much as I would love to see certain aspects played out and everything tied up nicely, I understand the frustration about wanting to get on with new plots, especially with the fallout this particular MRP has done to the GT verse.

I think the main purpose in this poll is to figure out if people want to know what the post-MRP fall out is sooner rather than later so they can "move on" so to speak.

I certainly wouldn't archive the forum right away by any means. I know of at LEAST three subplots that definitely need to be completed, but since they have no major bearing on the site as a whole, they can be done in their own time....if that makes sense?

Well, Leala and Jhanic are there to help out and everything. With them, I wouldn't mind if their stories were wrapped up. But, Torianin has been getting more and more prepared to step into battle. I just feel like if the story is wrapped up without her being able to help damane out of collars, and help the Grey Tower out of danger, it would be disappointing.

However, if the story is wrapped up without much interaction from others on her part, I wouldn't mind wrapping her story up with a fanfic or something.

I want a chance for Terric to stab something. Espeically because I just finished getting some nice spear ranks for him...
