PSA: Post length

Hey folks,
I've noticed a whole lot of super-short posts in the last couple of weeks. I was rather concerned about the cause of this (since that is not at all typical of the site and does not reflect our writing guidelines as I know them), so I went looking and realized that our post length expectations somehow got eaten in the process of updating our skill systems. I will be fixing this problem shortly!
Please be aware that from this point on the expected minimum word count for posts is once again 200 words (or as specified by your RP partners / class teachers / sparring partners). If this minimum is not met then RP partners/teachers/admins may request you to edit and expand, and your posts will NOT count towards acquiring Talents, Weapon Skills, Masteries, or Raising Requirements.
If you are uncertain how to "fluff" your posts to meet a limit, please feel free to post here. There are many, many creative writing resources available. We even have a "how to write for roleplay" class archived in our old library that may be of assistance. Failing that, my #1 bit of advice would be to avoid writing posts on your phone/tablet at all costs. It's okay (in fact, it's preferable!) for a thread to sit for a few hours/days until you can write on a computer or laptop.
