Welcome to the Gardens: one of the most tranquil areas of the Tower Grounds. Birds sing in the trees which line the wide paths between beautiful flower beds and serene lakes. There are benches to sit and listen to the waterfall, and there is neatly trimmed grass to lie on and rest. Novices and Soldiers as well as Warders in Training can be seen, sweeping the stone paths as Accepted and Dedicated study from books and relax under leafy trees.

Ever since she had learned the name of the skill that had caused her restoration of part of the gardens that been afflicted with a fungal infection. Betrys hadn't planned that sort of thing happening, of course that didn't mean she wanted to ignore it. In fact, she was curious about learning just what she could accomplish with this ability.

The few books on the subject had been filled more with speculation than anything that might actually be helpful for her learning process. Betrys suspected that it was because of the fact that at the moment, all the written materials had been referencing male channelers - which only made her own discovery that much more surprising. Betrys wouldn't ever consider the suggestion that she was special but she was starting to think she might just be odd and that wasn't an achievement which Betrys found any particular joy in announcing to the world.

So, she hadn't discussed the matter with Mirin and even when she'd gone to look for help it had been more about just general Earth Weaves (she'd been told bluntly that the Earth wasn't something that women generally did well in), so Betrys had decided to deduce a logical means of overcoming that limitation.

It had worked so far, although Valadin had been...upset.

Betrys was still wasn't sure about why he had been so different from the man she'd come to know and respect. She'd figure that out eventually. She really would. Though that would need to wait until later on.

Right now, she'd come into the garden with one of her special plants and decided to sit down to check out the location that she'd picked for this experiment. Mirin had raised an interesting suggestion when it came to the Trolloc inspired vegetation and even though they should really have put all of this sort of things behind them, Betrys had to admit the idea of a prank was something that she wanted to try out. Especially if it meant honing some aspect of this skill that seemed to be rather determined to separate her from her fellow sisters.

Betrys hoped that would end up happening, she had come to love her time here. While friends hadn't come thick and fast the ones that she had managed to earn were special and important people to her and that meant they should be cherished. Even if Mirin at least seemed to be more capable to leading her into trouble - still, Betrys needed to remember to include some fun in her life otherwise she would only end up dull and depressing. Besides, she didn't want to end up like that Accepted they'd pranked when they'd both been Novices...no way.

Patting the ground, Betrys concentrated.

The One Power lay close at hand as usual, just waiting for her to open up and connect with the great force. She allowed it to sink into her body and allowed it to renew the senses that would make this successful. Then she used her knowledge and instinctive edge and gut to direct the soil alongside her to part and allow the insertion of her special plant. It looked ordinary at the moment, the change would come once Betrys had finished potting out all of them.

Ready to be used when she was ready and it was the best sort of time to make it happen.

Betrys had considered a dry run but she wanted to show Mirin first about where she'd put them all. She was aware that there would be some involvement in the best location for each plant. Not that Betrys believed she'd missed the right places.

Satisfied Betrys stood up and brushed off the dirt before heading off to her own errands and lessons.

Time to figure out Valadin.
