Better Late Than Never (Attn: Kevin)

Leala had spent the majority of her stint as an Accepted studying history, politics, math, anything and everything that she wanted. Now, however, she was getting the feeling that her test to become Aes Sedai was close at hand. She would need to practice more in the One Power. At the very least, she was familiar with what she had heard was needed to perform weaves in Cloud Dancing. She remembered that her former roommate, Taylin, now Taylin Sedai, had a talent in Cloud Dancing. Leala did not know if she possessed that same talent, but she felt she should at least give it a try. This late in her career as an Accepted, she should have at least given it a shot before now, but at least she was trying now.
Taylin had asked that she meet her in her quarters to begin the lesson. Leala had gone to the Green Ajah's quarters, books in hand, and found her door to be locked, and no one inside. She turned away from the door and waited patiently in the hallway, her books in front of her. Every now and then, members of the Green Ajah would stop and question her, to see why she was just standing there. The Aes Sedai or Asha'man would take her at her word and leave. Mostly, though, she was ignored by servants and Warders roaming the halls. This place was much livelier than the White Ajah, where she aspired to be one day. She remembered Taylin being more of a free spirit than she was when they were novices. Light only knew when she would arrive.
