Keiran watched Taylin stand, brushing her skirts. He bounded to his feet, leaving the Lute on the ground. With a flourish, "Taylin. A pleasure to meet you, and even more of a pleasure to chat with you." He gave her one of the most boyish smiles he could muster. Bowing as deep as he could manage, lingering a moment, bent in half while focusing on keeping a steady balance.
Keiran was pleased. He had met so many new, friendly, and exciting faces in his short time at the Tower. Already, the apprehension of starting a new life was fading away. He did missed Kaci, nearly every moment of every day. There were constantly things that made her pop into his mind. Sometimes he almost wondered if some of the more random moments his mind wandered to her were something more than just stray thoughts. At times, he could feel something akin to a whisper in the back of his mind. Not an actual whisper, with words, more like a tingle accompanied by a strange feeling that seemed not his own.
With a deep breath, Keiran devoted his thoughts towards the rest of the evening. His studies were caught up. He couldn't practice his weaves without a Dedicated or an Asha'man. He had thought about stopping by Asha'man Phillips quarters for another lesson after his chores. Light! Keiran was in the kitchens again tonight. Luckily he didn't think the cooks would ask him to bake anything this late in the day. Most likely scrubbing floors for him. It wasn't fun, but it gave him a chance for his mind to wander to other things. Usually Kaci.
