Edit: Can I submit The Recruitment part where Emmond and Aria meet as a fanfic for Emmond? I... like it a lot *blushes*. I can brush up the conclusion so it ends smoother before submitting it.

Ladies,

Please let me know how Fen can fit into all of this. Bridget suggested Fen side with Emmond in this power struggle. I'm up for anything but, if Emmond loses, I would hate to see Fen suffer the consequences!

Tell me how and where I can jump in. I am going to review the google doc and then check out the thread.

Fen Garlan joined the Grey Tower at the instruction of Graendal. She visits his dreams promising great rewards if he serves her. She also has Aran'gar teaching Fen weaves using saidin though he keeps this secret from his Grey Tower colleagues. Graendal has ordered him to seek out the Black Ajah and assist them in their nefarious plans.

I think it's up to you, Prew! I don't know who is going to win; and I think it makes it more interesting as people might pick different sides.

Also, even if you pick the "losing" side, there may not necessarily be consequences. For example, you can claim to have been a spy...or prove to be useful in other ways... or even manipulate the "loss" to claim power for yourself!

What do you think? Would you like Emmond to contact Fen? Or would you prefer one of us, once we're properly raised?

I was thinking perhaps Emmond should call Fen in. Maybe not while he is talking with the three Accepted, though I suppose that could happen as well. Perhaps he might even order Fen to spy on Lydarian if she tries to recruit him. Fen is not above playing both sides if he feels it is in his best interests!

Update to Black Ajah planning: Bree, Bridget, what do you think of posting the meeting with Emmond as a thread? I think it's ready.

We should also discuss who would like to roleplay Emmond for Prew, or how we can fold him into the plot. How will Fen catch Emmond's attention?

Time for ideas to flow!

I think a full thread will be fine but it might need to wait for January... I am too scattered to be able to keep up right now. I think Bridget should handle the contact with Prew. She has seniority in the BA as of right now and I think that makes her most qualified to play the HoA role for the time being.
