Lirievin Tesiva Liri was unprepared for the sight she saw as she followed Makenna into the Ktichens’. Dough on the cooks faces? This was bizarre at best. Liri stood in the doorway, longer then she should have just taking in the scene. Cooks lying on the floor unconscious, or a new face with the dough smothering it. What in bloody ashes in happening in here..

Makenna took action much more quickly then anyone else throwing fire at the dough covering faces. Liri winced as she saw the burned faces underneath the dough. But at least it was better then being ended by the dough. Liri looked around and sent fire towards a few other dough piles, including a few still left on the table waiting for a free face to jump on. Quickly others came in and started helping so Liri went over to a few of those who had had their faces burned. She had a weave of air and water to cool down their face and try to help ease the pain of the burn. She remembered getting burnt on a pot once back in Kandor and her mother told her to put ice on it, which relieved much of the pain. These burns were of course worse but at least it was something.

Liri looked up from the person she had just helped and spotted Makenna back at the door. She waved the Novice over to her. She had been quick enough to burn the dough she would be useful here as well. “We need to get these people to the Infirmary so a Yellow Aes Sedai can look at them. Did you see the weave I just cast?” She asked not waiting for an answer. “Use it on their faces, it will help ease their pain. Liri looked over to the door, she was going to run out of it and see if she could find a Yellow before dragging all these bodies to the Infirmary, but she knew if Makenna was found Channeling without supervision she could get in trouble. Looking back at the door, Liri saw a few other Novices standing there. “You!” she yelled pointing at them. “Go out in the Halls and find an Aes Sedai, preferably a Yellow but any Aes Sedai will do.” She looked back at Makenna and motioned for the girl to follow her around to some of the others who had fallen.

Makenna nodded and stiffened her lips against each other. She was uncertain how well the weave would work for her given her weakness with the element of Air. She began to form the weaves holding a thin thread of Spirit out of habit. It always seemed to go better for her when she held that thread. Occasionally she would use it to darn up a weak place in her weaving. Thus far, though the Aes Sedai teaching her had tried to have her leave off the Spirit in her weaves, due to the higher rate of performance with it, they generally acquiesced and accepted the weave. She lay the spiraling net of Water and began to loop Air through it. Never quite needing the thread of Spirit, she lay the weave across the burned face of her first patient, incidentally not one of the people she had burned, and watched the mist condense and soothe the inflamed skin.

She moved on to the next person closest to them and watched as Liri moved on as well. This time, just before she lay the weave down, she did add a hint of Spirit to the middle and both ends of the Spiral pattern. The instinctive touch made the mist that condensed very cold. Nodding to herself and watching the resultant soothing negate the blisters beginning to form on the person's face, she moved on to the next person. Why would Spirit cause it to chill? Is it because of where or how it was placed? Is it to do with the size of the thread? Makenna was working on her fourth face when the large and impressive Asha'man came sweeping into the room. Locating Liri, he began to question her and triage the burns to treat the worst of them first. Makenna took that to mean that her efforts were no longer truly needed so, finishing up the face before her, she stood and began to brush bits of crumbly burned dough from her skirt and hands.

I should try to find a book in the library about the use of Spirit to enhance weaves. She turned to face the door and prepared to leave.

OOC: :p This is amusing but do you have a destination in mind for this thread or are we just going to throw things at each other and play catch till we call it done?
