Ravak
Ravak was the vanguard of one, through the square aperture wrought in the air just as it formed. The land on the other side was similar to the land near Ofwell, although there was no road in sight. In the far distance westwards lay a farm, barely visible if not for the smoke raising above it. Aside from that and the birds, the area was clear. When Impala completed his circle around the Gateway, Mia crossed through.

Riding alongside his wife, they moved in a east-southeastern direction. Towards the town or city of Sarandor presumably. Where House Sarand's estate was in relation to the town, Ravak didn't ask. The first task was to enter Sarandor under one of their many guises, settle in, then find out what they could from the common folk. Assuming this Morsic Holt isn't roaming the streets. Rav hadn't decided what he would do if that happened. Placing innocents in the way of a fight using saidar and saidin was well down on his list of things to do, but potentially letting Holt escape to do the Creator knew what was also down there.

After fifteen minutes, a town appeared in the distance. Another five minutes and they joined the road leading to Sarandor. Nothing to write home about. But then home was a tower built from Powerwrought stone and glass ter'angreal.

"What are we going as this time?" Ravak inquired about ten minutes away from the gates. "I was thinking you could be a lady of noble bearing, swept up by the romanticism of a grizzled Borderland warrior seeking..." The Shienaran paused in thought until that thought became an outright stall. He started to sputter out thoughts "My daughter? My son? Your son? Ach..." He grumbled. "I just don't want to be 'the bodyguard'. We get funny looks when we share a room, and there's nothing wrong with sharing a room with your spouse."

"We are not pretending to be mother and son." This was said with no small amount of vehemence.

Mia took his point, however, and she considered the matter as they rode along. Personally, the "funny looks" didn't bother her at all, but she had many...many, many more years on him to get used to such things. It seemed that no matter where she went, she got those kinds of glances. Even at the Tower. Long ago, she got more than a few for being married and bearing children.

After a moment, she said, "Well, we could always purposefully get the looks and be scandalous. An older woman married to a younger man." She smiled teasingly at him.
