The irony is that I literally just told another site how awesome Discord is because it so rarely has downtime. Like...ten minutes before it crashed....

Their Gateway and API services are completely down and out. They're either undergoing a nasty DDOS/other cyber attack or one of their coders found a way to completely wreck the chat service. It probably won't get sorted for at the very least an hour or two, from the looks of it. Could be wrong.
