Andraste had sat on the bench and waited, trying to stop herself from trying to move on her own out of impatience with the frailty of her own body. All she had wanted was a pleasant walk through the gardens in her rare time off and what had happened? She had flaming tripped and twisted her bloody ankle. Why in the Light did that have to happen?
She successfully kept herself still, however, and simply berated herself and the minuscule threads in the Pattern until Johan returned.
The Yellow introduced herself and asked for permission to Delve, which was granted, but the moment happened so quickly that one minute later, Andra couldn't remember the woman's name. Not that it mattered, since she would only ever call her "Aes Sedai." She waited patiently as the woman took her ankle and embraced Saidar. Andra could feel it and see it, which was still weird to her.
After the fire and ice of healing rushed through her, the ankle felt better and the Aes Sedai declared her work done and departed, barely giving Andra enough time to thank her. Suddenly, the Novice was...very hungry. Maybe she could find some food before her next task... For now, though, she pushed herself to her feet and tentatively tested her ankle. But it was normal again.
"Thank the Light," she breathed with relief, and then looked up to see that the Yellow was gone but the Ji'val was not. He looked a little lost, like he wanted to bolt. "Thank you again," she said with a small smile. "I didn't mean to detain you from...whatever it was you were doing today."
