I was reading some of my writings from way back in December and found this gem about Astoria:

“I caught three novices, two Soldiers, and one Accepted,” Mirin grouched. “And guess who the Accepted was?”

Betrys gave her a sidelong look.

Mirin sniffed. “Yes, it was Astoria. I swear that the woman has some sort of vendetta against me. But I have too much dirt on her. She seems so cold and logically minded – but did you know that she is currently juggling – not two, not three – but four lovers?”

I burst out laughing. Oh my. Yes, I am easily amused, even by myself.

I remembered a character I had a while ago. She was born without her right arm, and ended up coming to the Tower as a wilder. She ended up going Red, but that was the White Tower. I can still see her going for this kind of Red too, because her deal with those Reds wasn't "let's get all the dudes, because grrrr", but more because she wanted to fix the problems that it left behind. Her name was Aleira Darumath.

Er, uh...I got Aleira mixed up with Aureli, who I'm using as a transfer character. Just...assume that she has both arms if you use her.
