Welcome to the Gardens: one of the most tranquil areas of the Tower Grounds. Birds sing in the trees which line the wide paths between beautiful flower beds and serene lakes. There are benches to sit and listen to the waterfall, and there is neatly trimmed grass to lie on and rest. Novices and Soldiers as well as Warders in Training can be seen, sweeping the stone paths as Accepted and Dedicated study from books and relax under leafy trees.

Cloud Dancing.

The idea that she had a natural talent to control aspects of the weather was surreal, but as the course of the conversation with the M'hael had carried on, Tia started to think towards the possibilities. She did it without even knowing she was channeling, which was the most worrying part. Anger triggered today's episode, and Tia wondered if other strong emotions might be able to trigger a similar response. Learning to control her talent seemed like it should be her first priority, and a daunting one given she was oblivious to the fact that she'd nearly caused a raging thunderstorm to descend upon the Tower.

The M'Hael was offering to help her understand the ability better, and arrange a tutor. Was she getting special treatment because of who she was, and who her family was? It was critically important to her to prove herself to those around her. She didn't care that some of her fellow Novices disliked her seemingly because of her familial ties, but she didn't like that many of those same girls thought she didn't deserve her place. Stubborn Sha'hal that she was, Tia had to prove herself. . . not just to those around her, but inwardly, as well. She didn't have to be the best. . .just be the best she could be.

"I would appreciate it if you could help me find a trainer, Father. If, as you say, this is a natural talent, then I should learn to harness it. . .control it, and perhaps master it. The thought of causing harm without realizing I'm the culprit is . . .scary, really. Knowing what it's like to embrace Saidar, and now knowing that potential storm was caused by me channeling still boggles my mind," she replied, rambling as she does when she's nervous.

Embracing Saidar was perhaps the most intense feeling or sensation Tia'd ever experienced up to that point of her young life. So intense, in fact, that she didn't understand how she could have caused the once impending storm without realizing it.

But that's just it, isn't it? The M'Hael said you had a natural talent for it. . .it comes to you as easily as breathing. Almost like an extension of you. Learn to embrace it.

The Novice pushed her inner dialogue aside as she looked back to the M'hael and pointed skyward to the now dissipated clouds , "Thank you. . .again, for stopping that. And for taking time to explain this all to me. I am sure our M'hael has many more pressing matters than a wayard Novice who lets her temper get the better of her." The last she said with a small smile.

OOC: I could certainly be interested in an NPC trainer to help Tia learn control, and perhaps see some of the possibilities. Now that she's accepted, she can more easily leave the Tower, so if they need wide open spaces....weeee
