Rav
"Ravak Gaidin", the Master of Training corrected, "and yes, in time you can choose one of the weapons here. The Tower makes some fine weapons as well." He bared a few inches of his longsword, revealing the Flame and the Fang of the Tower. "Finest weapons outside of Shienar."

Rav led Artur back out into the yards. "Let's show you to your room. For the meantime, you will have a room to yourself. That may well change, depending on when the next new Drin walks in my door. It is your responsibility to maintain your room, its furnishings and its appearance. Once you're settled in, if you have any questions, you can seek me out, or you can ask another Gaidin or Gaidar if they aren't already occupied with other some task."

They entered the foyer with its huge Flame and Fang mosaic. "You will hear a bell each hour of the day, denoting a change in duties. You have this day and the next to yourself, to get orientated, and so you can sign up for various classes. If you need a mentor, you can seek one yourself or I can assign you; the latter is usually best. Otherwise, you'll learn the schedule quickly enough." Instead of returning up the staircase to the first floor, Ravak led the Drin through to the western halls.

Ravak regaled Artur with the list of rules and requirements expected of Drin'far'ji. No bonding, no relationships, no disrespect, no undue respect... It was a long list. Sufficiently long enough to lead them to Artur's door. Producing a key, Rav unlocked the door and pushed it wide open. Inside were two beds. Several stacks of folded linens, uniforms and towelling had been left on one of the beds, with a good sized chest at the foot of it, and a singular desk and chair set in between. "Enjoy the solitude whilst you have it." The Master of Training produced a second key from a pocket, and placed both into Artur's hand. "It's tradition for you to have two sets of keys. You may entrust the second to a friend or confidant. I'll tell you know, don't think I shall tolerate it if you give your second key to a woman. As I stated before, whilst the Warder Yards caters to both men and women, there will be no distracting relationships. They don't work out." That last was from personal experience, but he let none of that regret come through in his tone. "I will say this, however, which may seem like a contradiction. Seek out friends amongst the novices and the soldiers, the Accepted and Dedicated. One day you may bond, and any one of those channellers could be your bondmate. It's a wise idea to get to know them sooner rather than later."

Ravak took a step back, so that Artur had access into his new room. "Do you have any further questions, before I leave you to it?"
OOC: You may end this thread with a simple description of your room or you may decide to carry on this thread for as long as you need answers to your questions. You already have a mentor, so feel free to get in touch with me if you need anything.

Artur
After Artur got the answer to his question the pair walked out of the armory and towards the main building as Ravak Gaidin spoke of the rules and responsibility of a Drin in the Grey Tower.

Artur listened and watched as they passed the other trainies, his eyes fell on a duel with daggers going on in the distance and his heart beat faster in anticipation of the skills he would learn. He knew in that moment in his heart and mind that he had made the right decision to pursue a place in the Tower. He had found his home.

They walked into his new room and it looked grand enough to be in a palace. The room was small but had a bed, A real bed not a pile of straw on the floor or a palet. He had his own chest to hold new clothes that were his. He did not have to share clothes with five other boys. He had to share a desk with another when he received a desk, that was ok he had never had a desk. He knew his letters and how to read but never needed a desk before. Artur was so happy he felt like he would burst. The whole room shined it was so clean and orderly with wood everywhere. He felt at home and wanted to just lay in the bed and sleep away his past. He had to get clean and start his training though.

"Thank you so much Ravak Gaidin! This means so much to me, i've never had a bed before or any of these things. I will do the Tower proud."

He gave the Tall Gaidin a smile before he walked over and hugged one of his uniforms to himself, new clothes he was so happy.

"Do you have any further questions, before I leave you to it?"

"Only one, what direction do I take for a bath so I can get changed?"
OOC: Thanks Craig its been fun, this can end the thread.
